(I'm not sure if this is in the right forum or not. Feel free to move it if needed)

I keep hearing a lot of people here talking about slap and pop. I have no idea how to slap or pop and was interested in learning. Think you can help?

Dude,

Just cut back on the tempo. Work at a slower pace until you get comfortable.

SLAP BASS PROGRAM

buy it, watch it till your eyes bleed.

start slow, it will seem impossible at first,
just a word of caution DO NOT PUSH FAST FOWARD!!!! it has been known to cause heart failure in newbies.

spend about 2 months on the first 10 minutes.

and if you ever get half as good as him you will be an amazing

Oh yeah I have been playing for around 15 years about an hour a day, and I am not at the end of the tape yet

His Name is Alex Sklarevski, That's probably spelled way wrong

Don't know where he is from, sounds eastern european though. He doesn't have an accent so who knows.

the video was made in the 1980's and the quality and their cloths prove that But the guy is amazing (and I don't throw that word around alot)
But it's cool because he doesnt spend an hour playing sick solo's to prove what a man he is, like alot of the other vertuoso tapes I have seen.

He starts with bassic hand position and over 80 minutes he gets to stuff that I still can't comprehend.
