Slap/pop exercises

I've been messing around with some slap bass lately, but I don't practice the technique other than when I play songs. Can someone suggest some exercises that I can do that will help me play faster and more accurately?

This is one of the best (if not the best) books on the subject. You'll find lots of great exercises there.

i learned on sly and the family stone (in a way)- larry graham. its fairly simple and quite groovy. root octive is boring but effective, too, if you want to just go for enfurance while mind numbing yourself, which you gotta do sometime.

Ultimate Slap from Stuart Clayton is a reference.

Available from bassline publishing in UK. It is more complete than Slap It, that is also a very good one.

The slap method by Alexis Sklarevski is also a must have.
