Question Slap/pop technique

Sign in to disble this ad
I've been playing bass for about a year now. i started off playing metal and discovered the slap/pop technique. I started listening to different types of music involving funkyier and jazzier beats. I now I'm seriously dissappointed with myself.
i would like to know what songs are good to start out learning. i have the basic slap/pop down, but i would like to develope my style more and need more songs to practice. anything easy-to-mid range difficulty would be nice.
Also any tips about doing tripplets with popping, i've been using my middle and index but just can't seem to get it down.

thanks for any help you can give me....
