slap what to do with ur left hand

i have good accuracy slapping the strings but i dont get a grungy sound i get a clean sound... i do not want that what can i do with my left hand to get a grungy sound like most slap.

Sounds like you've got a tone problem, play with the little knobs on your bass. hehehe, couldn't resist. Seriously though, maybe your action is set to high?

dunno, have you tried turning the treble down?

it doesn't sound as sharp and piercing then.

Try messing around with the mids, turning up the bass, and turning down the treble.
