I am interesting in buying a cort curbow 5st fretless. Now, my question is, I am in the process of learning to play slap and all that jazz, and I am wondering if there is any major difference in slapping on a fretless opposed to a regular fretted. Any comments/advise is greatly appreciated.

It sounds different.

Not as bright or percussive, that sound comes from the string slapping back against the metal frets.

I think that it sounds good, more woody, and I am planning on slapping my Zon when I get it, but it has a different tone than slapping a fretted bass.
