What's the deal with how white people walk?! I mean they walkin' round like they be crushin' diamonds in there or sumpin?

Blunt: It's "There is only so much oil in the ground" If there was too much oil, I don't think we'd have to deal with the prices we are currently dealing with Crazy bassline though, one of my favs!

Favorite Mark King performance: "Love Games" Nice simple groove.

I couldn't agree more.

Musical masturbation at it's ugliest IMHO.

I remember hearing Courtney Pine interviewed a while ago about why he still "insisted" on playing part of his show with his back to his audience while "blowing his brains out" on his sax with little or no apparent regard for what the rest of his band were playing.

He explained that, whenever he did a show WITHOUT doing that, he got buried in complaints from fans who expected it of him and who had come to his show specifically to see/hear him do it.

Seriously, it must be a genuinely frustrating situation to be in and a real curse of the virtuoso player. Thankfully, I don't think I will ever need to worry about it.

It's so strange: Level 42 is so cheesy, and I don't know why. I think if their songs were covered by somebody else, it wouldn't be cheesy. The Vocals are technically good, the bass... flashy, the guitar very nice and atmospheric (the guitarist is actually quite brilliant when it comes to being spacious), keyboard that is a little dated... and the keyboard players vocals... well they are pretty bad. But I don't know what they are missing to keep them from being cheesy. I think in part it's the drum tone for some reason. The production is very... McDonalds Jazz Radio...

Dude, the people love it in that video. How can you argue when they're cheering like that? Sure, it's just for show-off, but everyone's entitled to a bit of a "drum solo", right?

I wasnt impressed at all with that. There was maybe 3 seconds of that that i liked, where he kinda stopped, then started, and it was kinda groovy, then it went back to poo until the end.

I slap with my thumb either parallel, or slightly down.
