I really like the tone you're getting out of that bass, especially the bent harmonics! What kind of trem is on the bass?

Ok, in an effort to give feedback, it did seem like the rhythm was a little off at the very beginning, but just barely and only for a second or two. Overall it was very enjoyable.

Thanks for your comment.

The trem is a Kahler 7400 - plays great!

Throughout the piece I'm trying to stretch and compress the time a little to make it a little more melodic and to create variations on the repeated parts.

Seeing as I'm playing alone, I try to get out of 'groove mode' - which is where I'd be if I was playing with others.

By the way - I had a look at your website - you make beautiful instruments!

I kinda figured it was a Kahler, thanks for letting me know Slyon! I've got to get through some orders so I can build myself a bass with a Kahler trem.

Now that you've explained it to me, it does seem like the piece is better if you vary the time. Again, you sounded really good.

Thanks for the compliments on my instruments too!

My pleasure...

Be sure to post some pics when that bass of yours with the kahler is ready...

Sly.
