Cool Some quick help please

Im working on my jazz bebop. Its my favorite style of music. I could use some good artists/composers or whatever please I got a practice with my drummer tomarrow so i want to try out something new

Learn jazz standards and be able to play them cold. Practice playing straight 8th notes through the chord changes - make sure you can hear the chords behind your solo. I can't think of anything else off-hand. But I'll get back if I do. =]

Bass Guitar.

Post in the Double Bass (DB) technique category and you'll get what I'd consider better responses. Those guys know their jazz, over here not always true.
