I'm looking for stuff to practice because I have never dabbled in slap! I need tabs and songs to start out on.

You want things to practice?

Get the CD/book pack "Slap It" by Tony Oppenheim.

It will keep you practicing for a loooong time!

Slow Ride by Foghat has an easy going slap and pop figure in the verse!

I'm not sure how beginner it is, but Funny Vibe by Living Colour has a nice slap line. Definitely something to check out.

Best advice ever. Not only you'll get a solid foundation, but you'll also find super cool funk grooves. Example 3 - Page 14 (non tablature version of the book) is one of my all time favorites.
