Sounding similar to Mudvayne?

Hey TB, just have a quick question for all. I've really been digging mudvayne again, and have been playing a couple of their songs, but I still can't quite figure out what scales or modes they're basing it off of. Anyone know?

I'm guessing that their songs are based on a variety of keys, so any specific examples?

see, that's the part I don't really know. I know only little snippets of music theory, so I have a harder time picking out specific keys and modes. Songs by them that I was thinking of was like World So Cold, Scream With Me, and Silenced.

Sorry, by specific examples I meant songs. Since they probably don't stick to a small amount of keys for every song.

I already listed a few songs in my previous post. Sorry if I didn't make them easier to see. World so Cold, Scream With Me, and Silenced. Just for starters. Thanks for taking the time to help me out.

An A? thanks. I don't play a five, I can't afford one, but I'd like to give one a shot.

World So Cold is just...badass. It's heavy as hell, and is also chill and relaxed.

On a quick listen World So Cold seems to be in G minor to me. The chorus is sort of a C Dorian pattern. But yeah, just thinking G minor should cover it. I need some sleep but I may go over it in more detail tomorrow if I get a chance.
