 styleistic problem?

This doesnt happen when i pop and slap or play with a pick, but when i play with my fingers, a *clack* *clack* noise sounds on the upper two strings, much like if you were to mute your strings and slap them, but the "regular" bass noise sounds at the same time. It wasnt really a problem when i was playing through my amp, but when i was recording, the noise was fairly loud, and it really takes away from the sound. how can i fix this? is it styeistic? |
