Suggestions on good Theory books...

anyone got any for me? I'd consider myself a pretty intermediate player. I majored in trumpet performance in college so undersatanding basic terminology is no problem. I guess I'm just looking to find something I can sit down with and go through exercises and get a better grasp of the bass all around. thanks alot.

The Jazz Theory Book. Search on here for "Mark Levine" -- you'll find all sorts of discussion on it.
