Im trying to figure out my own way of tapping and sweeping because i hate to copy other artists, i love using my own techniques so post your favorite tech from any artist of any genre but sweeping and taping is mainly used in metal. I'll start it off Quote: Victor Wooten
This Technique is found on Victors video entitled "Super Bass Solo Technique." Your
only using two chords
This G
G|------15--------|
D|------15--------|
A|----------------|
E|------15--------|
and
this C
G|------15--------|
D|------14--------|
A|------15--------|
E|----------------|
In this you take the root note which in this case is the G and C and move down an
Octave. It
looks a little something like this Pause then Repeat
G|---------15-----|-15-----15----15|-------15-----15|----------------|
D|---------15-----|-14-----14----14|-------15-----14|----------------|
A|-------------3--|-----3------3---|-----------3----|----------------|
E|-3--3-----------|----------------|-3--3-----------|----------------|
*For the root notes use your left hand to tap. For the notes in the higher octave use
your
right. If you play lefty do the opposite. There is alot of improvisation that can be
done
