I'm just goofing around (newb to bass BTW) and learned the bass for the Rush Limbaugh show - actually the pretenders but I'm only doing the very beginning
Anyway, here's the tab:

I'm having some trouble doing the 7-6-7-6 part - I can't seem to figure out a way to do it smoothly and still mute the strings right.
Is it just a matter of practice or is there a technique I can use to make the muting easier/cleaner?
