1) Don't let your left thumb creep up over the neck like that

2) The singer needs to support his notes with more air. It's kind of pitchy, dog.

Holy crap, yeah, I picked that up on the videos. My thumb does go up and in way too often. Today, at a jam, during certain songs, I worked on it. Hard to unlearn silly mistakes you've done for a while, but I'm still gonna work at it.

Great stuff, and in a studio situation it would be hard to comment as the live situation is where it would be need to be heard and any problems addressed from that.

As for the thumb over the top don't sweat it if it is not a real problem.
By that i mean the fingers do the work, the thumb is just there in support, so it will go where its natural. We don't play bass with our thumbs so don't waste time and energy on it other than making sure it is functional.
