Anything other than fingers or felt on bronze strings gets some serious dookie sounding clank. Leather or maybe some kind of soft rubberish material would be cool to try for bronze strings. What other pick materials are out there? |

I've moved on to a meaner pick, that takes 10X longer to wear and is stiffer(yet not any thicker):
1mm Pickboy Modulous Carbon picks | Did the same thing, now I've got one of these and a few PickBoy Carbon Nylons, 1mm. Last FOREVER, don't slip out of my swampy sweaty fingers, and have an attack that is so quick and clean I'd play with 'em if they hurt.
Love them.

They produce a great sound, hardly go blunt (I've been playing with the same pick for 6 months and there has been no change in sharpness) and sound killer with a bit of distortion on. The design, even if it does get rubbed off quickly, is nice too.

I always thought a standard sized pick would do, but the little ones are just easier to move about & keep in my hand.
I don't use a pick that often...usually when outdoors and the humidity is raging. By the 3rd set, my pluckin' hand is done.
