tapping on fretless

Sign in to disble this ad
so i just got my fretless, and i bought the hal leonard (bunny brunel) fretless method. i also bought a book of tapping exercises, because i've always wanted to tap. should i focus on just the fretless work for a few months before playing around with the tapping, or will it be fairly easy to apply the tapping to my fretless technique? anything i should know?

If you do fretless exercises for a bit and get a better feel of your instrument, tapping will be easier to start. IMO, of course.

cool. i guess i will put the tapping book on the shelf for a month or so.
that's probably the wiser, more mature choice. . .
