Technique problems with my MTD 635...

As some of you may know, I had a thread regarding this very topic that I deleted. I now regret that. I wanted to thank all of you who took the time to post or pm me about this problem I was having.

I figured out what was wrong. Long story short it was something I was over looking in my left hand technique. It turns out it was sympathetic vibrations after all. I thought I was muting everything with my left hand, but realized I was missing a string depending on the placement of my hand. This in turn made for that strange harmonic I've never heard before.

So, it turns out it is just the same old problem almost everyone has when moving to an ERB. I decided to make this thread to re-introduce ways to help with modifying technique to properly mute the sympathetic vibrations on ERB's.
