Techniques to work around BHJS?

Sign in to disble this ad
Info on BHJS can be found here: http://www.cchs.net/health/health-in...asp?index=3971

I have it badly in my left (fretting hand) wrist. My wrist will pop in and out of socket when I move it. I know some others have to have this problem also.

I've tried everything, from cheap braces (and exspensive one) to strecthing (which should always be done anyways) and nothings worked.

Could you find a way to play without much wrist motion? Or at least with less than you use now. Or maybe even play lefty so your plucking hand is the one with the problem.

I don't know how far you have to move before your wrist pops out.

I've tried everything

it dosnt have to move far at all, maybe a quarter-rotation from being inline with the rest of my arm.
