Index-Middle-Index-Middle-Index-Middle.
And yes it's a crazy song to play. |

You have to decide if it is worth the extra effort, when no one can hardly tell the difference anyway. When in doubt, cheat. |

Basically, the answer to the whole thing is: practice practice practice practice practice practice.

The thumb has always been a very handy tool for me... it allows me to play faster than if I restricted myself to index-middle finger only. Here's a slowed down video clip (not very good quality) of the beginning of the tune using thumb-index & middle. This video assumes you know where to fret so concentrate on the plucking hand.... CLICK HERE TO PLAY TEEN TOWN INTRO ..and now, off to "Technique" where this belongs.

If your asking about the right hand I alternate and rake the last 2 notes G and C with my 2nd finger.
