I'm playing The Smiths - There Is a Light That Never Goes Out, and having some trouble with fingering
For reference, here is the tab... (ignore the capo 4th fret thing, that's not meant to be there)... http://www.songsterr.com/a/wsa/smith...s-tab-s18092t2
It's all fine until I get to the F# to E jump, such as between bars 5-6.
Right now I'm playing frets 2-4 with my whole hand, and trying to play both F# and E on the second fret with my index finger, kind of as a bar chord (not sure how to explain this better).
But a lot of the time I can't really get a good clear sound from the E, it's usually muffled or buzzy
Would be interested to know how others would go about playing this... Is the bar the right approach, or maybe shifting the tip of my index finger to the D string?
