Thumb Pick with Slapping?

Sign in to disble this ad
Saw some thumb picks at a local music store. Would they be any good for slapping? perhaps to get a new/different sound with?

Anyone try this? I'm sure there's bound to be someone.

No-one's replied, why not buy some and try it yourseld?. Then you can tell us how it went and maybe you can start a new trend and be "ground zero"?.

I tried it so I could combine picking and slapping in the same song and switch off when I needed. Didn't turn it so well with me, but then again I have zero control when slapping.

Mark King wears something around his thumb...don't think it's a thumb pick...but he does slap with it.
