Timing help?

Sign in to disble this ad
Im in a hardcore band right now, and alot of our stuff has some pretty weird timing to it. Does anybody know of a way I could practice and improve my playing at off timings? And I've also been looking for things I could do to improve my basslines in the band, right now I'm doing a mix of playing root notes and following the guitar, but I dont just want to do that. So if anybody knows of anything I could do to help in those two areas I'd greatly appreciate it. Heres our myspace, the stuff up there is old stuff that was from before I joined the band, but its still roughly the same style of music.
