I have slowly been learning this song on bass and it is difficult. Not for my fret hand, my plucking hand. I had a chainsaw accident and my right hand lacks much needed muscle and prescision. I just wanted to see if you guys had any techniques for this song, and bass playing overall. My main playing stuck is the normal two finger pluck, and then with just my thumb. So any help would be awesome. Thanks guys.

His right hand technique is always pretty much the same. It's fast but not impossibly fast.
Play slowly and speed will come by itself. Actually once you're used to it it is pretty simple.
If your hand gives you issues, you can always try it with a pick.

Hmm. Okay thanks. I have never thought about playing with a pick. I will go pick up a few. I just thought that picks were more guitar based. I have also heard that picks make it sound a bit different?

Just out of curiosity... you didn't know people played bass with a pick but you're playing Iron Maiden songs?

That's pretty... odd.

Why is it odd, since Steve Harris always plays with fingers?
