I cam across this really great video by Victor Wooten for beginners on the slap technique. Barebones, easy, but VERY informative for all the slap noobs out there.

I have been trying to "get" this technique.

Watching the clip again it seems like Victor Wooten is using his hand, wrist, entire arm and shoulder all coordinated together to get that up and down motion with the thumb.

This is a VERY good clip. I watched it a while back, and it taught me how to double thump.

Lightbulb Hmmm

For me I can do the actual technique but its how to apply it. Should I basically substitute the normal thump with this then use the index and middle finger to slap, like with normal slap lines?
