I read that vic wooten puts a fuzzy hair band on the kneck of his bass to prevent to much vibration when he slaps. i was wondering how and where exactly i would put the hairband were i to use this technique
I would think it would be most effective just over the nut, barely extending on to the strings. but more so, i would say try it and see where it sounds the best.
