2 fingers (alternating). On upright, I'm trying to get into using both fingers at the same time.

I'm yet another doubler chiming in. I use primarily just my index finger on upright, and use a bit more middle finger when i'm walking on electric. So-for electric my index finger is dominant, but my middle finger joins in far more than on upright.

While this is true, the differences are so miniscule that nobody really notices it but you. Unless your middle finger is completely out to lunch, that is.

Why wouldn't you use that same technique on electric then?
