I wash my hands with soap, then use an alcohol based hand sanitizer. I do this several times a day as well as everytime before I play. I work in hospitals, and you see a lot of germs there. Regular soap doesn't always kill everyting. Just being cautious. Besides....Doesn't alcohol help clean your strings, and prolong their life.
