Okay, please try and follow. Now, imagine a J- style pickup (lower pickup if you have two) and you PRESS DOWN using your right hand on the E String against the J-Style pickup. It will attract, of course, but when it sticks, it makes a really weird noise. if you want an example of what I mean by a low J style pickup, look at the Ibanez Mikro. When you press down, it makes a percussion-like style. Has anyone ever done this before? Or, is their a song that used it on a recording? |
