Ok well I've been watching A lot of videos on YouTube lately , and I often see bass players throwing in this like chime/ping fingering tone? Anybody know the name of this style/name ?? Or can direct me to any videos or tutorials on how to perform this "chime" style? I usually see it being performed in bass slapping videos. Its almost always done when they are about to finish their solo.. thanks!!

Perhaps you could give a link to one of the You Tube clips. That way, people might be able to help you better.

Unfortunately the link is not working for me. I can only guess what you mean. What Victor Wooten is doing often is: After he played a string the "normal" way (pop, slap thumb that is) he would gently touch the string with his righthand thumbnail. Near the neck pickup. There is also a spot with hamonics. This gives a nice bell like tone and you could even bend the string.
