What goin on?

I've been trying to figure out what my favorite players are doing in terms of theory to help my own playing but there are a few songs I'm not sure whats going on and I'd appreciate any help. I'm trying get inside there heads so to speak in terms of scales and chords.

Jamerson's bass line in "What's Going On?" is another you should figure out! (That's what I thought your post might be about based on the title)

There are a number of places you can find a transcription to "Portriat of Tracy". Sorry I can't help with the others.

A definitve "Whats Going On" transcription is in the "Shadows of Motown" tribute book for James Jamerson by Dr Licks. The song is an excellent workout in precise placement of 16ths.

This book belongs in every serious electric bass players library. It is in sheet music only (no tab).
