I play like myself. I try to learn from everyone but I play like myself. Started out wanting to play like McCartney and Stanley Clarke, realized I would never do either no matter how good I got because they're them and I'm me.

I don't think I really play like anyone (consciously, anyway) but I've had more than one person say I sounded like Eric Avery. That's not a bad thing, I suppose.

More like Bill Dickens than anyone else I suppose, but I didn't plan it that way, it's just come higher and higher over the years because it's more comfortable especially on my left wrist because it straightens it out. That said, I try to study every player I listen to and incorporate what I think is the best part of what they do into my own individual style (or at least my favorite part of what they do).
