Ascending runs that involve crossing strings in the upward (i.e. towards the higher strings) direction. Nothing else compared to the woodshedding I've had to put into doing that. Endless exercises with pentatonics, arpeggios etc. just to get to the point where I can play anything going up in reasonably good time.
This is awkward because of the movements required for finger-style. Unlike descending runs where you can hammerstroke, you have to actually "move the mechanism" (to use Todd Johnson's term) up to the next string in order to pluck it. I had to relearn how to do it when I switched to the floating thumb last year too.
For me this was and still is the most miserably difficult move to execute, so I practice it all the bloody time....
