i've got a U2 covers gig next week and i've gotta learn 20 or so songs, not that difficult but i've never really played any before....they're pretty much down a half step all the time, right?

Oh.. I never knew that.

The 5 or 6 U2 songs I play sound perfectly fine in standard tuning, but thats just me.

Hm.. subscribed.

Down 1/2 step on pretty much everything from War to The Unforgettable Fire (the title track itself, however, is in some weird open tuning).

On Joshua Tree, they were mostly standard with the exception of a few songs ("Still haven't found..." being 1/2 step down).

From Achtung Baby to Pop - 1/2 step almost exclusively

All that you can't leave behind to now - a mixed bag but mostly standard.

I should've also said that the really early stuff was standard. But Andy covered it better.
