It's purple, has a crescent moon in the middle of a grippy part and is .60.

It's called the Purple Crescent Moon Grippy Pick in a .60 gauge

But seriously, if I could find one in a 2 mm gauge, I'd get it. My hands get dry and the Gator Grip picks I'm using fall out of my hand.

I had this same problem. I cut my pics in a star pattern(like RHCP logo) with a razor.

Sounds like work But not nearly as much work as what I used to do. I used to heat up a needle and poke it through a few times when I used Fender plastic picks. Now that was work!

Hope I can find a razor around somewhere. I'd like to try that. I'll use a not so wacky pattern, but I'd like to try it.

Dunno about the cresent moon, but there's a brand called "Snarling Dogs Brain Picks" that have that same grippy pattern. I bought it for the cool metal box but ended up loving the grip stuff. They only had 1.0 mm at the store....
Funny part is, I found out that's the same brand one of my guitarists uses.......cause they've got sweaty fingers too ! Now I gotta keep an eye on my picks before I'm down to none Heyyy wait, then I can buy another cool tin......hrmmmmm

Looking at the timestamp at the bottom of the picture I would have to say this is a pick from the future and no one know how cool it is yet. Except you.

I've been using a surfpick jazz stubby for the last year and it has worked well for me. When the lignum vitae warms up a bit it sticks to your fingers just enough. I believe he also makes some picks with rubber grips on them.

Last year's Christmas pictures were in January of 96, so I think the camera's date thing is messed up.

Also, the Snarling Dogs looks right, but I wonder where the crescent moon came from?

I know the Surfpick guy from hanging out on the Howard Stern newsgroups. He's a huge Stern fan, but he's one of those fans who feels like he needs to slam the show so people who pretend to hate the show but listen every day don't think he's a Stern butt-kisser. And every once in a while he'd talk about his picks. I decided that I would lose them too quickly to spend what he wants for them, but they sound like a cool idea.
