Right now I got this thing about learning the melody to classic TV shows like the Rifleman. Combat, 12 O clock high. The melodies are part of my childhood. Strange I know but they are catchy to say the least.

Foo Fighters - Learn to fly, My hero(very simple songs)
Greenday - Longview
Then i do them all with three fingers, then a pick.
then i slap my octaves and what not.
Then i write more demo stuff for my band.

After that i try some ear training and whatnot.

I practice the set list primarily.

But for other practice and as a reminder of my human weaknesses, I practice:

Chuck Rainey era Steely Dan
70's Stevie Wonder
Rob Derhak stuff from moe.

I play at church and every week we have to play 3-4 songs. So my practice list is the songs for that week.

In addition to that I'll do normal technique work of scales/arpeggios and related exercises.
