This'll happen to me after some serious woodshedding on a new technique or tough lick. Don't even think about it for a week, then BAM! I wake up with a feeling that if I don't get my hands on my bass asap, I might spontaneously-combust.

I sometimes wonder if its just my brains way of taking some time to procees new information, make new connections, etc, etc.
