People expect an acoustic guitar and a guitar sounding melody.
Imagine hauling all your gear plus a generator, setting up, you're solo by the way, then all of a sudden it's Boom-Ba-Doom-Ba-Doom-Ba-Doom.

some oldies, and after a min. he will say "well can you play the whole thing"? I am like I just did... - Oh???... He says - like what the hell was that? So I just break out my acoustic Guitar and play the same song - and he is like hey thats great - I love the Beatles...
He doesn't really understand why bass is so dif. from Guitar.

That song is really built on the bass lines and around here if you are at a pub with a band playing, theres a high percentage it will be played, so most people young and old know it. |

The theme from Law & Order gets notice. |

Welcome to the jungle/ its so easy GnR - these are pretty easy to pic (pun intended) if your guests have ever used a pub jukebox... Looks that kill Motley Crue - need i say any more???
...oh yeah and yes i am stuck in the 80's...
