Unhappy Will This Technique Change Help?

Whats your take on this?

So I got tendinitis this past month from playing electric and I know it was because I wear my strap high and my plucking hand is at an extreme angle. So the doctor insisted I get a cortizone injection and did. I thought about not doing it for a while before going there but his reasoning convinced me. I have refined my technique by playing with a wrist brace to keep my wrist straight which was the cause of the tendinitis. Now the shot made the swelling go down, and my new technique will possibly make the tendinitis stay away? This all goes along with regular streching, lower strap and keeping track of how my wrist is feeling of course!

Just wondering if I sound crazy or if that seems like it could be a good goal to work towards keeping the tendinitis away?

to avoid tendinitis, you need to strenght up the muscles of the area that it's affected. Not like Hogan, but a little work out on that particular muscles should be fine.
