yes, search some of the threads right here!

I did put GHS bass boomers , light guage, 95's , and I have used a lighter touch with my left hand.....

also, warmup , even if only for a minute or two, and stretch as well.

good luck, be careful, you can really hurt yourself.

hey! stay away from guitar hero!

that thing makes you mad, and you try to muscle the thing, and you can hurt yourself!

Keep your wrists straight!!!! Even if it means wearing your bass a little higher.

+1 to keeping your wrists straight.
Google some you tube flicks on bass technique.

If your right wrist is giving you trouble, you might try lowering the bass a bit -- maybe a notch or two on your strap. I found it reduced angles and tension in my right shoulder, arm and wrist.

3 of the top bassists of today, and no straight wrists.
The key is to play relaxed and as effortless as possible, and have the bass in same height as when sitting.
Post a video of you playing, so we can see in case smth else is wrong.

ive noticed that when i pluck the strings hard near the bridge pickup my tendons in my forearm get really sore... and i think a little bent wrist is ok...

I noticed my wrist was started to hurt also and also noticed it was severely curved..

Now my hands are sore i can still play but i now pluck very lightly and keep an almost striaght right wrist

The easiest way to stay relaxed is to keep your wrists straight...

Tilt the neck up more and the body down. The more angle you have the easier it is to keep your wrists at a more ergonomic angle.

Victor Wooten in the first picture there is doing a fantstic job of what I am describing vs the other 2 players. It will also help with your high fret acess and improve your playing speed as well as give you more attack options for plucking/slapping/picking.

I find that when my wrist is starting to hurt, I can look at the position of my bass and realize that the neck has dropped. A quick adjustment to bring the neck up and the body down and my wrist relaxes quite a bit.
