www.bassprotips.com ? The method

Hi

Well I am a newbie to bass. I do have an instructor and I practice reguarly.

I found this through a link from harmoney central, and I was wondering if the 100 bucks (the cost of 5 private lessons) is worth it for this software.

It appears to have been reviewed in a number of publications that he has listed on his site

Is this worth the money or would I be better off buying a bunch of books else where (which I intend to buy later anyway).

IMO.... private lessons are better than any book. If I were you, I'd buy a beginning bass book (10-20 dollares), use that, work with your instructor. And slowly progress into bigger things, like the James brown stuff or what have you.
