*OFF MARKET* Feeler* Azola Baby Bass for sale

I am selling an Ampeg Azola Baby Bass re-issued late 90's.
this is a superb instrument in a very well taken care condition.
there is a couple of scuffs on top of the headstock, but that's about it, other wise its in mint condition. Sound can be very percussive a la ampeg or round and open with sizzle and lots of sustain for Jazz gigs.
This one has two different pick ups
-Magnetic diaphragm (ampeg baby bass) and
-Piezo pick up (DB sound)
both pick ups work independent from one another or they can be blended through the electronics.
The bass its made out of fiberglass, 41.5" scale, very straight neck, and its either an active or passive (push-pull) bass.
I have a hardcase with the bass for shipping.
from Azola's website
"Important note:
Azola proudly manufactured the official re-issue AMPEG Baby Bass from 1997-1999 which was available in a limited quantity through AMPEG dealers worldwide. The fiberglass bodied re-issue included the traditional, percussive magnetic diaphragm pickup system, and also a dual-element piezo pickup mounted in the wooden bridge for added versatility. The re-issue AMPEG Baby Bass was offered in Sunburst, Black, White, Red or Turquoise.

You can still catch our re-issue Ampeg Baby Basses in action with such performers as Ozomatli, Counting Crows and Van Morrisson."

asking $2,800.00 + shipping

I have more pictures available upon request.

a couple of more pics..

keeper

After some time, putting some hard thoughts into this, and some very helpful players feedback, I have realized that I should keep this bass. I know I will miss it dearly.
the bass its a keeper!!
Gracias bajocallao/Carias!

I played a reissue in the 90's at UArts in Philly, loved it!

I had one of the Azola BB reissues. It was a wonderful instrument and played beautifully. I only parted with it to get an Azola Acoustic BB. At the time, I wanted more of an amplified DB sound rather than a traditional baby bass sound. The hollow body, bass bar and soundpost make a big difference.

Agree!
I think I'll just keep an eye for a 60's ampeg to have more flavours
cheers
