*OFF MARKET* Shen SB-200--Chicago 'burbs

This is my beloved 2006 Shen SB-200 Willow 3/4 flatback. I saved gig money for a few years and picked this Shen as my good bass after playing quite a few instruments. Last spring I stumbled onto a beat old German bass and haven't played my other basses since. There isn't enough room in my apartment to fit three basses and my wife, so the Shen has to go (keeping my old Engelhardt for crappy gigs).

It has a few minor scars, but has been taken care of and wears a set of Pirastro Obligato strings.
I bought it new from Michelle Fiore of Classic Contrabass in January of 2007 and have probably had it out on 30 folk/jazz/rock gigs.

I used it to record the McNamara and Neeley album "About Time," you can hear a few tracks on myspace (everything except "City of Chicago" is the Shen):

I posted a thread about the bass here:
Showing off my Shen

$3300 OBO local pickup, come by and play it first in Arlington Heights/Bloomingdale/Itasca. Includes a bass bag, I'll toss in a bow, bow bag, and rockstop if you'd like.

Can't bring myself to part with this bass after all.
No longer for sale, thanks.
