*PRICE DROP* FS: Christopher DB303 Hybrid, Lots of Flame!

3/4 violin shaped Christopher DB303 hybrid (labeled DB801T in the year 2000) with substantial flame on the back, ribs and cheeks and light flaming on the neck. Ebony fingerboard. High quality, heavy brass machines.

There are no visible cracks or separation that I can find. There is minimal edge wear with only a few slight scratches/dings here and there.

The sound is dark however that's easily manipulated with different strings and a set up to your taste.

Dimensions
Upper bout 20"
Lower bout 26"
String length nut to bridge 41-1/4"
Rib depth at neck heel 7"
Rib depth at C bout 8-1/4"

The bass can be purchased new for between $2600-3200 USD. I am offering this bass for $1750 OBO. You'll save several hundred dollars, get added piece of mind that this bass is stable after 11 years and no cracks. In addition, it's played in and ready to serve!

If you arrange all insured shipping including delivery of a trunk to my house, I am happy to oblige. Otherwise, the bass will need to be picked up.

The bass will come with a thinly padded canvas bag.

Thanks Trix...I take it that it's the high gloss and not the vintage finish?
