These were only built for a year or two by Regal. It has a 42 inch scale and is quite a novelty on stage. I have only found 5 of these since I acquired this one 12 years ago. Asking $1600
Yes it's the same one. Originally it had frets marked on the fingerboard but played fretless. When I bought it the fingerboard and bridge had been replaced but whoever did it did a lousy job so I replaced them. I found another Regal at Elderly Music's museum and they were kind enough to take lots of pictures. I left the marking off of the fingerboard because I was really more interested in playing it than doing a restore plus I couldn't afford the inlay work at the time.
