I am clearing some inventory. I have a Christopher hybrid 5- string model 304 DB 7/8 Busetto with a matte finish and upgraded Rubner tuners. I purchased this bass as a back up and to use on gigs that I don't want to take my expensive bass on.
It has been out of my house maybe 10 times since I purchased it in 2006. I have done little to the bass except some set up work and removing the hard wire tailpiece hanger.
I am asking $3000 or best offer for this instrument. It is a very loud bass and would make an excellent jazz instrument. I have used this bass in local professional orchestras when a 5-string was needed and when I didn't feel safe taking my good bass out.
I will consider offers, but no trades. I would be willing to ship the bass if it can be negotiated. I am also willing to drive within 5 hours to deliver.
