*SOLD* AMERICAN STANDARD bass # 40 for sale !!!

I am selling this beautiful old American Standard bass # 40 in very good conditions. It is the lowest serial number known to exist. The bass is registered in www.americanstandardbass.com
The bass has a powerful, deep, projecting sound and is in very good conditions. No cracks, original varnish, has a small repair in the neck, but very solid. Adjustable bridge, carbon fibre endpin and velvet tailpiece cord. I am not using this bass so much so I am letting it go. Get a piece of history !
Asking 3.000 euros plus shipping.
Thanks.

Wow, are those actually Red-O-Rays on the D and G? Are they included?

Yes they are but I no longer have them. I have some NEW Kaplan Golden spiral but I may keep them. I might have some more redorays to sell in the near future. Ciao.

Although the post does not say anything about my company Upton Bass http://www.uptonbass.com we received a call the other day asking about the AS #40 that we restored and is now for sale in Italy. We did not restore this bass it was sold to Stefano it quite bad condition and he had the work done and from what I can tell he did quite a nice job! I am sure that Stef did not state that Upton Bass worked on the instrument but the person on the phone was clearly mislead and I personally would like to make sure there is no further confusion.

Gary is right. Thank him for the update. I didn't mention it since I though this could not originate any confusion...Anyway I bought the bass from him as it was and had a complete restoration here in Italy. The bass is now in sturdy conditions. I played it a lot and I have made several flights with it (Mexico, Spain, Germany). Everything has always been straight with it.
thanks.
