*SOLD* Bag End S10X-D

For Sale:
Bag End S10X-D. This 8 ohm cabinet was a special order through Bass NW, it has one 10" speaker and a co-axial tweeter. The only noticable wear is on the corners. I've been using it for upright with a Clarus and it sounds great...I'm just in the market for a 4 ohm cabinet. I'm think about $250 + shipping.

I've searched the web for specs and can't find anything. How much does it weigh? Do you have detailed specs? Sensitivity, spl?

Larry,
Bass Northwest in Seattle ordered a few of these cabinets from Bag End on a special order basis so I don't have any detailed specs. It weighs in at about 30lbs by my bathroom scale, the handle balances nicely--no problem loading into a gig with bass in one hand and cabinet in the other. Let me know if I can answer any other questions...
John

Just a little info about decoding Bag End model designations:

S = Single

10 = Driver Diameter

X = Coaxial (woofer with coaxially mounted compression tweeter)

-D = Deep Red Series

Therefore S10X-D = Single 10-inch coaxial driver with Deep Red carpet covering.

Sounds like a very nice cab BTW. Bag End stuff is built to last.

I've always wanted to try one...

...but I want to make sure that the speaker can handle 5-string lakland (with reasonable tone, of course) and an upright.
Can you tell me what you've used it for in the past?
Any opinions on it's suitability for these tasks?
Email me if you like:
