*SOLD* Crown GLM-200 + phantom power

For sale: Crown GLM-200 condenser mic with phantom power unit.

I bought this about 9 yrs ago (from Lemur, if memory serves) and have only used it a few times. It is wired into a Fishman jack, and I still have the instructions on wiring it together with the Fishman BP-100 for use with the blender, along with several other wiring options.

The phantom power is a battery-powered unit from Whirlwind.
http://www.whirlwindusa.com/phan.html (scroll down, it's the Micpower). NOTE: this mic will NOT work with standard 48v phantom power boxes or mixers.

Included as shown in the pic are the foam isolation plug for keeping the wire through the bridge wing hole, additional mounting clip, double-sided tape, and instructions. I will also throw in a couple of cables to connect it to the power unit - not great cables, mind you, but something to get you started. TRS-to-XLR male, and TRS-to-XLR female - both 6ft. You would probably do better using some higher-end cables for your particular rig.

This mic sounds just as good as the day I bought it, but it just doesn't suit my bass or my amplification needs - I'd rather it be in the hands of someone who will use it.

This mic retails today (in its non-Fishman form) for around $200, and the Whirlwind goes for $100 retail. I'm asking $125 for everything, shipping included. I can only ship to US lower 48. PayPal only please!

Thanks,

Chris

This is actually a very good and very high quality professional grade mic. Far superior to the K&K Golden Bullet mic (I've owned both). The GLM (Great Little Mic) is very useful for adding some depth and air to your amplified sound when mixed with a pickup, or even for sending to a PA or for recording. This mic's pattern is also very tight and keeps bleed to a minimum. I particularly like that once it's installed, it's completely unobtrusive.
