Just got it yesterday. It is a beautiful string and the pizz is absolutely perfect (a dream for gut lovers). The slap is warm but very clear. Very playable, nice width. Projecting and warm. First class workmanship. On my bass it's not quite quick enough under the bow which I do a lot of these days. I feel it's more my bass than the string. It sounds really nice but I'm not able to play it as fast as I'd like. In perfect new condition.

I love it but I think it's not the right bowing string for me... It is a beautiful string in perfect condition. I absolutely LOVE the pizz sound, in fact, it is the best sounding string I've ever heard. It makes my low C sound like Charlie Haden's bass, and that's saying a lot! The bowing is very nice but I am having trouble getting the sound I want in thumb position. It could just be that my bass needs a stiffer string, I don't know. So here it is, come and get it, the latest stroke of genius from Mr. Dlugolecki, I'll pay the postage.
